Bubba's Story

Chad “Bubba” Hildebrand was awarded his legendary nickname by his brothers and friends in the early 80’s after the defensive lineman Al “Bubba” Baker. The number, 73, was appointed to him in high school during his time playing football for Vicksburg High School. Many of you knew Bubs through a friendship of growing up together, golf, cards, sports or work, so you already know that Bubs was a man who based his life on kindness to others. He always gave freely of himself, expecting nothing in return. He was (in)famous for his “one liners” and his great sense of humor. Everyone that met him loved his laid-back manner, his contagious smile and his gift to just draw you in. To know Bubba, was to love Bubba.
